My name is Debra Grossman and I have been creating original, one-of-a-kind denim designs and hair accessories for years.
I have lived in jeans as long as I can remember. They're casual, comfortable and always in style. I wear jeans everywhere: ratty old cut-offs to the beach, low-rider capris out to lunch with the girls, overalls and the perfect tee to the park with my kids, a great-fitting pair of boot-cuts out at night, and a vintage jacket anytime, anywhere, especially here in Southern California. Denim is versatile and timeless.
My five year old daughter, however, whose favorite color is pink and who likes all things girly, particularly those that are sparkly, disagreed. To her, denim was for boys. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't pink and it certainly didn't sparkle. I had to do something to help her see the light.
And that's how Blue Jean Dreams designs was born . . . and, yes, my daughter now likes to wear denim.
